The project prospectus presents ZephyrNova as an industrial zone for clean production in Loznitsa Municipality, powered by local green energy.

The zone starts at 37 decares and can grow to 100 decares. Its energy base is a 100 MWp solar park already in operation, a 130 MW wind park in development and battery storage, with potential to expand to 320 MW of renewables and 190 MWh of storage.

Priority sectors for the first stage are agri-food processing and storage and clean-tech manufacturing. Data centres follow in a later stage, with their waste heat warming greenhouses and public buildings.

The project includes an energy community in which households in the villages where the investments are made receive free electricity, and a municipal fund against energy poverty.
